Akinyi Oluoch

Akinyi Oluoch is an award-winning actress, a performing arts teacher, a voice artiste, poet, emcee, singer-songwriter and a yoga trainer. She also recently graduated with a BA in Psychology.

Akinyi won Best Actress 2018 at the Sanaa Awards for her role as Sarafina in the play by the same title, was part of Too Early For Birds, The Brazen Edition ensemble and was most recently was part of the Kenyan duo that pulled off an online staging of the female Frankenstein. She has featured in multiple film productions and is the current emcee for Kwani open mic. Akinyi, Queen Akiyi, speaks Eng, Swa, Luo, and Korean.
