Bilal Mwaura is an Africa Movie Academy award nominated actor, a respected and award winning Kenyan thespian most recognized for leading his roles in films such as 40 Sticks and Uradi (both on Netflix) and in the recently released Kenyan films - Grand Little Lie and Mission To Rescue. Mwaura is a prolific theatre actor and writer who is impassioned about Swahili - both as a reader and speaker, a storyteller, an actor’s minder, a thinker and a stage and screen writer.
