#31: Alice in Wakanda land too – On parenting, productivity, buds and rebirth
In this episode, the BBB hosts are stoked to have the gracious Alice Kombani in the studio. Their first second time guest, wapi nduru wewe!! They talk life in the first world, shifts, parenting, poetry, productivity and more! They explore what ‘home’ really is and the cultural, social and societal differences and expectations. Taking quite a bit of time on lessons and choices around parenting in a faster futuristic world where systems work, they explore FinTech, sports, performing arts and other global opportunities for the younger generation. On being home, they speak of barefoot bliss, bull fighting, farming, mutura, muthokoi, manyeni, mogoka and more! Manifesting bigger dreams around rugby, better governance and beyond, the episode moves from Singapore to Oloitoktok, through the streets of Nairobi in matatus and on bodabodas with chatty deres and flirty cops. An episode full of gems around growth in marriage, mirrors and the lack thereof, social media, pacing the self, pouring from fuller cups, stories we tell ourselves, delegation, duality, forgiveness and learning to breath.
